Vacation at the Stockner

There is so much to discover and experience at the Stockner organic farm and horse farm.

Guests are accommodated in one of the 5 vacation apartments. These have been furnished in historic buildings on the farm - particularly quaint and rustic.

All apartments have been awarded "4 flowers" - this is the best rating of "Farm Holidays" in Austria.

The horse farm is a place of encounter with nature, with other people, with horses and with oneself. Here, in the middle of the nature park Almenland, we want to make encounters and exchanges possible. That is why we offer Farm Holidays, riding lessons and organic horsekeeping .

Around 60 horses live on our farm on the southern slope at Almenland . Most of them belong to the "New Forrester" breed, a docile, robust small horse breed. Our horses are leisure partners and not sports equipment. For us, species-appropriate handling of the ponies is a matter of course.

We offer year-round riding lessons with two riding instructors and rides and trail rides through the Almenland . We work with our horses according to the Monty Roberts method.

In addition to horse riding, there is plenty to do in the area - visit the 18-hole golf course in the immediate vicinity. The heart of the nature park - the Teichlamsee- is just a few minutes' drive away. Here, or right on the doorstep of the horse farm, several hiking trails. Many excursion destinations are only a few minutes away.
