The miracle berry chokeberry
The aronia berry is a very old fruit that has been rediscovered in recent decades. With its ingredients, it has an extremely positive effect on everyone's health. Hermi and Edi Ponsold have been dedicated to this miracle berry for several years. In 2014, they planted two hectares with 8,000 bushes. The farm is located at an altitude of 820 m in Hohenau an der Raab, in the middle of the Almenland nature park. In addition to the aronia berries, herbs also thrive on the farm and ALMO oxen graze on the home pastures.
The Aronia product range is very wide: Aronia juice, syrup, tea, fruit spreads, dried berries, chocolate, liqueur, vinegar and much more!

The farm store is open all year round every Saturday from 9.00 to 12.00.
Guided tours
The ancient aronia berry enriches the diversity of the cultural landscape of the nature park Almenland. Get to know the plant, how it grows and what its preferences are. Enjoy a special taste experience with our aronia products, from sweet to sour, from aronia chocolate to aronia vinegar. You will also learn a few tips on how you can incorporate chokeberries into your daily diet to support your health.
