Simply "mow"
The Weizer Schafbauern adventure and show dairy offers an exciting and informative program all about sheep and sheep products. Here, three-cheese highs, lamb and cheese lovers, as well as cheese summeriers, get their money's worth. On a varied tour, our visitors can immerse themselves in the secrets of milk processing and taste various sheep's milk specialties at a tasting station. The Weizer Schafbauern team is looking forward to your visit and will be happy to give you an insight into the colorful world of sheep and their products.
At the World Cheese Award 2018/2019 in Bergen, great results were achieved with the cheeses - gold for the S`Würzige Schaf and silver for the S`Gschmackige Schaf as well as the Gutenberger Camembert.
Opening hours of the "Genussladen":
Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Guided tours
Registration is mandatory and must be made by telephone or e-mail(erlebnistour (at) määh. at) at least one working day before the desired date. Groups possible at any time on request.
Prices 2025:
- € 13,00 for adults
- € 9,00 for children from 6 to 15 years
- Further discounts can be found on the website.
Unguided tours without registration including tasting & small surprise take place on Monday & Friday at 1.00 pm.
