Wooden ox on the Teichalm

This alpine ox stands directly on the Teichalmsee and is the landmark of the nature park Almenland. It is covered with 22,000 wooden shingles and stands for the region's flagship product, the ALMO Alpine ox. Over 3,500 oxen graze on the 125 Alpine pastures in the nature park in summer, providing the particularly high-quality meat for the ALMO Alpine Ox brand.
