Austria's dripstone-richest show cave

Immerse yourself in a subterranean world full of stalagmites and stalactites, be enchanted by meter-high, delicate limestone candles and sparkling stalactite columns. Through the 22 m wide and 10 m high entrance portal of the Katerloch you enter the impressive entrance hall, where the so-called Atlas is located. With a circumference of 46 m and a height of 22 m, this is one of the largest sinter columns in the world. Equally impressive is the 10,000 m² Fantasy Hall. Here you will find a veritable stalactite jungle with thousands of fantasy formations.

The Katerloch is still considered an insider tip, because after 20 years of closure it has only been possible to visit the beauties of this show cave again since 2004.
