Graz's local mountain - the Schöckl

On the Schöckl, you can not only relax in the fresh air, enjoy nature and the wonderful panoramic views, but also take part in sporting activities - at any time of year. The Schöckl, also known as Graz's local mountain, is a true paradise for families and sports enthusiasts. The "adventure mountain" offers something for everyone. 

First, you can either take the Schöckl cable car or walk up. There is a wide network of hiking trails here where you can hike to the summit. We recommend the leisurely tour from the Schöcklkreuz via the "Panoramaweg" (gravel road) up to the summit. Parking is available at the Schöcklkreuz, but there is a charge for this.
