Almenland-Hiking trail

The trail leads for around 18 kilometers across a high plateau with open alpine pastures, lots of cattle and good culinary offerings, i.e. huts and inns. The views along the way are second to none! The wonderful panorama extends from the Hochschwab over the Stuhleck to Eastern Styria. 

Der Almenland-Wanderweg verbindet die Teichalm mit der Brandlucken. Sowohl am Ausgangsort, als auch am Ziel, gibt es einiges zu sehen. Auf der Teichalm warten der See, das Hochmoor und Holzochse auf Besucher. Die Brandlucken ist dagegen für ihr Freiluft-Theater vor der "Huab'n" bekannt, im Sommer wird hier regelmäßig Theater gespielt.

If you only want to walk in one direction, the "SAM - Sammeltaxi Oststeiermark" offers a good opportunity to take you back to the starting point.
