Old mills and fresh fish

Especially at the height of summer, the flower village of St. Kathrein in all its glory, in spring you can enjoy lush flowering meadows, in the Lambachtal valley it is the intense yellow marsh marigolds that delight the heart. We recommend a hike along the Mühlentalweg trail or the rowanberry panorama trail-above the village.

Mühlental circular route

The Mühlental hiking trail leads through the Lambachtal valley near St. Kathrein am Offenegg, where there were once 102 mills. Today, only two of them are still intact.
