The Moarhofhechtl has been family-owned since 1792 and has been documented since 1383. Happy chickens scratch around the farm and alpine oxen graze on the pasture behind the barn, providing the famous ALMO® beef . Over 40 different types of pasta of the highest quality are made from the farm's own free-range eggs. The farm store not only sells homemade pasta and free-range eggs, but also other Almenland specialties and regional gifts such as pasta bouquets, pasta figurines and much more.

Our farm is one of two adjacent small-scale farms in Passail. A member of the Bio Ernteverband since 1995, organic farming is a matter of course. We keep slow-growing broiler chickens in groups of 50 to 100 chickens in self-developed mobile sheds in the middle of the pasture. After a stress-free period of 8 to 9 weeks, we slaughter our animals directly on the farm. We sell the meat from our pasture-raised chickens whole or halved. You can buy our meat directly from the farm or from our sales partners Kaufhaus Reisinger in Passail or Kaufhaus Bleykolm in Weiz. As we are already sold out on the day of sale, please order in advance.
