Homemade food and hospitality
The hut is conveniently located for hikers on the Mariazell long-distance hiking trail between Sommeralm and Straßegg.
The walk from the Windrad, Stoakoglhütte or Straßegg trailheads takes about an hour.
The hike from the village of Gasen to the hut takes about 2 hours.
Here guests are spoiled with homemade soups, snacks and pastries!
