Near the Red Wall
The Tyrnaueralm hut is at the foot of the Rote Wand at 1,350 meters. In addition to the good food, you get pure entertainment here, because the landlord Erich Mandl rarely leaves his harmonica lying around. As Alm-Erich, he demonstrates his talent for music to hungry guests. There is no overnight accommodation at the hut.
The hut is open from May to October and can be reached by car via a toll road from the Tyrnau district.
