Alpine hut Gaston-Lippitt

The alpine hut of the Mixnitz Alpine Club is located directly on the Teichalm, about 5 minutes from the centerpiece, the Teichalmsee.

The hut offers space for groups and celebrations of all kinds. On the alp, surrounded by meadows and pastures, and right next to the Mixnitzbach stream, it is the central starting point for many hikes. Just a few steps away is the alpine adventure park with climbing garden and motor skills park for younger guests.

Equipment of the hut:

• a camp for 10 people
• a camp for 6 people
• currently in planning: a family room for 2 adults & 2 children

An equipped kitchen with a wood-burning stove and a large lounge are available for cooking and eating together. In each camp there is also enough space with tables and chairs for games evenings or cozy get-togethers.

The hut also has a large bathroom with shower and separate WC.

Electricity is available - but heating is provided by the wood-burning stove and the wood-fired heating system. Sufficient wood is available directly next to the hut in the outdoor area.

The numerous hiking routes on the Teich- and Sommeralm, as well as the many inns invite you to enjoy a cozy, culinary vacation. But there is also plenty to experience in winter :

• Skiing
  The Teichalm lifts and the Reisinger snow sports schoolare in the immediate vicinity
• The cross-country ski trail leads right past the hut
• Tobogganing
• Horse-drawn sleigh rides
• Snowshoe hikes
