Leitner dairy

The Leitner family farm is located in Tulwitz, about 10 minutes by car from the Arzberger Reifungsstollen. Christoph and Jasmin Leitner have dedicated themselves to dairy cow farming. In 2009, the farm was expanded to include a small dairy, the Almenland dairy. This is where some of the Almenland cheeses are made from hay milk, such as Teichalmer or cream cheese. In addition to the farm, the "Harrerhütte" dairy on the Teichalm also belongs to the Leitner family.

The show dairy gives you an insight into the world of cheese production. You will learn about and understand the process from hay milk to finished cheese. Of course, you can also taste the cheese creations.
