Arzberg show mine

In the silent gallery

Different rules apply underground.

Deep in the silent tunnels, you can learn a lot about the arduous and wondrous life of miners in past centuries. The path through Raabstollen, Gesenke and Erbstollen at a pleasant 10 °C shows this hard working world. The Arzberg show gallery is also interesting from today's perspective - a seismographic station in the mountain can measure distant earth movements and next door, in the "Franz-Leopold-Stollen", cheese wheels ripen to perfection.

Good footwear and jacket required. After the tour, you can visit the local history and folklore museum.

You can currently also visit our special exhibition "Historical and active mining in the region Almenland".

Special guided tour: "5 moments - take a deep breath in the tunnel"

Mental trainer Christoph Berger from "Feine Zeit" accompanies his guests with guided breathing exercises on an approximately one-hour walk from the arrival point in Arzberg to five selected points in and around the gallery. These "5 Momente Feine Zeit" revolve around the themes of rhythm, arrival, depth, peace and networking. The pure air in the depths of the Arzberg show and educational gallery, the relative humidity of almost 100% and the consistently fresh temperature of around 10 degrees ensure that you can breathe deeply. The peace and quiet and the darkness in the mountain help you to wind down.

"Feine Zeit" is a GenussCard partner, so you can only experience this tour free of charge with GenussCard .
