Herberstein Zoo and Castle
Exotic animals & magnificent buildings
The keeping of wild animals has a long tradition at Herberstein and can be traced back to the 17th century. In the following centuries, it was mainly domestic and huntable animals that found their way into the private park. Today, Herberstein near Stubenberg is a magnificent wildlife park where exotic animals can also be seen.
You can also visit the gardens with a magnificent rosarium and the castle.
Opening hours:
- November 04, 2024 to March 2025
Thursday to Sunday, public holidays from 10 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., stay in the park until 4 p.m. - from March 2025
daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., stay in the park until 5 p.m.
Prices 2025:
- Adults: € 21,50
- Children: € 11,00
- Seniors, students, young people 16-18 years: € 18.50
- Children under 3 years: free of charge
