Excursion to the Nechnitz

Plateau with a view

The Nechnitz, a plateau near Fladnitz an der Teichalm, is no longer an insider tip. On the one hand, there are two ALMO inns here, and on the other, several hiking trails start here. The best known is probably the wooden sculpture trail up to the Gschaid-Nock panoramic mountain. But the Sulbergrunde or the trails to the Gerlerkogel or Teichalm are also popular. And the high plateau with its yellow-flowering pastures and views of the Rote Wand or Schöckl is an excursion destination in itself.

Gasthof Haider, T. 03179 6119

The inn is known for its beef dishes, especially the organic steak, which tastes excellent here. The restaurant is also known for its pastries and cakes.
