Excursion to the Teichalm
The lake, the moor and the excursion destinations
The Teichalm is probably the most famous excursion destination in the nature park, with the wooden trail through the high moor and the oversized wooden ox right next to it. In spring, the blue and white crocus blossom enchants the alpine pastures and there is no shortage of cozy resting places around the lake or along the many hiking trails.
The Latschenhütte, T. 03179 7127
Anyone who has ever been to the Teichalm will also know the Latschenhütte directly on the lake. The menu features Austrian tavern classics and the accompanying pastries.
The Teichwirt, T. 03179 7169
At the other end of the lake, hungry guests can enjoy fish specialties - and the house confectionery with cakes, tarts, pastries and the popular soft ice cream.

Hochreiter forest park
The well-known eco-park above the Teichalm has reopened as a "forest park". In addition to the petting zoo in the forest, there is now also the "Baumhaus" forest park restaurant. The various burgers are particularly popular.
Alpine adventure park
The climbing park on the Teichalm is also open again, with a new course this year featuring a "free fall" from a height of 10 meters. Small snacks are available to take away at the "Jausnerei".
Open from May: Thu - Sun, 10:00 - 18:00, daily during the summer vacations
Gerlerkogel path
