Styrian Flower Route
The most beautiful flower villages in Styria
In 1990, the flower villages of Pöllauberg, Vorau, Wenigzell, Mönichwald, St. Jakob im Walde, Strallegg, Miesenbach and St. Kathrein am Offenegg founded the "Styrian Flower Route" association. St. Lorenzen am Wechsel joined in 1993 and Fischbach became the newest member in 2009.
The "Styrian Flower Route" connects those flower villages, each of which has won the Styrian Flower Decoration Competition at least once, and several villages can even call themselves "Europe's most beautiful flower village". Every two years, the Flower Route organizes the great "Styrian Flower Parade", during which many magnificent flower floats parade through the blooming village.
The next flower parade will take place in Vorau in 2025.
As part of the 2025 parade, the new Flower Road Highnesses will once again be elected, who will then represent the Styrian Flower Road until the next Flower Parade in 2027.
So in 2025 you can once again expect a flowery event on the Styrian Flower Route.
