Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing
The open-air museum for the whole of Austria
The Austrian Open-Air Museum is one of the 10 largest central open-air museums in Europe. The holistic presentation of historical objects from the various provinces gives visitors a comprehensive picture of the life and everyday life of the rural population of the past.
The Austrian Open-Air Museum preserves irretrievable cultural heritage from 6 centuries and provides authentic insights into the roots of Austria's history.
More than 100 rural objects from the provinces and South Tyrol have been assembled in the museum valley, of which original historical buildings as well as replicas and reconstructions can be found in Stübing.
Opening hours 2025:
- April 01 to October 31
- daily from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. (admission until 4.00 p.m.)
- Special opening hours at weekends in November 10.00 to 16.00
