Nature park projects
Let us introduce!
Based on the four pillars of the nature park strategy: protection and further development, recreation, education and regional development, our main motivation is to implement projects and to encourage businesses, organizations and all citizens in the nature park to implement projects in the field of nature conservation. Here you will find a list of current, planned, ongoing and completed projects. Let us inspire you.
Almenland creates pleasure
The high-quality brochure is here!
What would the Almenland Nature Park be without alpine pastures? Quite simply: forest. Here, where our colorful alpine meadows entice you to hikes with magnificent views, would be forest. And because most of these habitats are not the way we experience them today, in this brochure we not only bring plants and animals to the fore, but also farmers, producers, nature park specialties, partners and restaurateurs. Because without the processing into food, the cattle on the mountain pastures and the services of the farmers would be degraded to mere landscape conservation.
We invite you - grab a bite! Show your appreciation for our unique landscape and the work of our farmers - by indulging in the enjoyment of the landscape and food!

Charging biodiversity
The biodiversity battery in the Almenland nature park is far from empty, but there is always room for a little more energy. In the "Recharging biodiversity" project, activities are carried out to preserve, increase and raise awareness of biodiversity - the diversity of life - and make it a tangible experience.
Nature education
Nature park partners are often the first point of contact for guests in the nature park Almenland. In this project, the nature park partners were given an understanding of the "diversity of life" around their business and introduced to methods of passing on information to guests in a contemporary and enjoyable way.
