Nature mediators

On the road with trained specialists!

Nature is easy to enjoy, nature always works. However, the enjoyment of nature can be significantly increased if you get the right tip at the right time. So if you want to experience more, understand more and enjoy more, our nature mediators, alpine and hiking guides are the right people for you.

Thanks to their knowledge of nature, pedagogical principles and organizational skills, but above all their enthusiasm for nature and enjoyment of working with people, the participants are in good hands with the nature mediators. They offer an optimal, tailor-made program, under the motto "experience more, understand more and enjoy more" our mediators respond to nature, but also to the visitors.

In Styria's youngest nature park, the guides lead you through forests, gorges and alpine pastures. But it's not just the landscape that impresses guests, but also the native plant and animal species. Get to know all this and much more.

I am Hermine

Through my profession as a farmer, I am very closely connected to nature. It is a great pleasure and a wonderful feeling to make children and adults aware of the special features that our natural world has to offer.

"I marvel at the lavish diversity with which nature renews itself from day to day."

I am Ingrid

From an early age, my interest in nature was fostered through extensive hikes, mountain tours and travel. Even today, I still spend my free time in nature and on trips - on foot, by bike, on horseback, snowshoes or touring skis. I am particularly interested in animals - wild and farm animals - and their behavior.
In addition to my activities as a (children's) ski instructor, masseuse and vaulting instructor, I would like to discover and explore the diversity, adaptability, changeability and secrets of nature with our guests as a state-certified hiking instructor.

My focus as a nature and landscape guide and alpine guide is on communicating nature, especially in the areas of water, forest and in the Ark Park, addressing everyone from small children to senior citizens.
"The wonderful thing about people and nature is the unique diversity that appears anew with every encounter."

I am Elisabeth

Having grown up on a farm in the heart of the Almenland Nature Park, I have learned to appreciate and love my homeland. As a nature lover with a passion for cooking, eating and food, the connections between landscape, small-scale agriculture and natural food production are a topic close to my heart. Since 2023, I have also been working for the nature park as a nature educator. I am currently allowed to organize the nature park tour "125 nightmares in green" during the summer months. Individual nature experiences are available on request.
