Events in the Almenland

From folk music and theater tradition

Alpine pasture and folk music - for most people a very logical connection. At Almenland , folk music in the original sense is still very much alive. Alpine hut singers meet regularly and invite people to sing along or more or less experienced harmonica players come together at the Musikanten-Stammtisch. And there are events where folk dancing is a fixed item on the program.

In recent years, however, more and more classical and contemporary performances have been added to the program, especially in the summer months, theater lovers are also well served. The Brandluckner Huab'n Theater puts on an Austrian classic every year, while in the surrounding communities it is more the rural folk plays that are joined by cabaret groups with their current programs.
