Teichalm circuit with moorland nature trail
Pleasant trail with refreshment stops.
The ideal tour for all excursionists who are visiting the Alm for the first time. The hike leads around the Teichalmsee and then, a little higher up, out to the Holzmeister guesthouse-camping site. Harrerhütte where alpine cheese and yoghurt can be tasted.
Back on the Teichalm, right next to the wooden ox is the entrance to the moor, which is one of the last mountain pine raised bogs in Austria with a special flora and fauna. The moor nature trail leads around the moor on wooden planks and ends at the mountain pine hut.
Variant:
The leisurely circular route around the lake and through the moor can also be tackled with a baby carriage or wheelchair. Duration: approx. 1 hour for 2.5 km
