Great alpine hike
A big alpine round!
This is the large alpine pasture circuit that leads from Passail to the Teichalm and on to the Sommeralm. You then return to Passail via the Ochsenhalt and along the Raab.
This day tour leads from the valley basin right into the heart of the nature park, the Teichalm and Sommeralm. Shortly after the start, you reach the romantic Lindenberg church with a beautiful view over the Passail basin. Past the Almenland-Kreiner beekeeping farm the route leads over the Buchkogeln up to the Teichalm, before the steep climb through the forest up to the Osser awaits. The view from the Osser summit cross extends over the Teichalmseethe Hochlantsch and the Red Wall beyond.
Now the most beautiful section of the tour awaits: always with a beautiful view, you hike along the ridge on soft alpine pastures to the Bründlalm with the striking 3 weather crosses. Now it's down to the Ochsenhalt, which is known for its abundance of rare native orchids that bloom here in June and are strictly protected. The rest of the way back to Passail also leads along the Raab, which has its source a few kilometers above.
