Paragliding in the Almenland

With these aircraft, you can experience a very special kind of nature from a bird's eye view during training. Due to the small pack size, paragliding in particular can be combined with other leisure and vacation activities.

However, sound training is absolutely essential in order to prevent the dangers associated with flying and to be able to practise this nature-loving sport safely. Paragliding and hang gliding can be learned by anyone who is reasonably sporty and enthusiastic, but who is also prepared to take the theory and practice seriously. The minimum age is 16 years.

The Styrian Flying School holds its courses directly in our region. Taster courses are held all year round. You can also learn the basic techniques of paragliding in just 4 flying (vacation) days. Various hang gliding courses are also offered.
