The economic region

The Almenland Wirtschaft association is made up of many small and medium-sized enterprises from the Almenland nature park. We try to strengthen the awareness of the population as well as the entrepreneurs for the economic interests of the region. The Almenland Wirtschaft sees it as a major task to constantly revive interest in economic activities, services and cultural events.
 

The handshake

The handshake is a symbol of our Almenland economy. A handshake has many meanings, e.g. trust, unity, value, but also strength. With this strength, the entrepreneurs and their qualified employees prove their quality every day. Through trust and unity, you as a customer can rely on an honest partnership with the business community. This handshake quality means that everything has more value. You too can benefit from the services of the business enterprises at Almenland.

The Almenland economy, together with the business enterprises in Almenland and FARO Consulting GmbH, will counteract the "apprentice problem" in order to increase the appreciation of vocational training in Almenland . Pupils will be introduced to a wide range of apprenticeships in the region through a variety of activities.

Apprentice qualification

The association Almenland Wirtschaft has members across the entire Almenland and all sectors of the region and currently has around 80 members.

Economy

Tourism, agriculture, forestry and small businesses characterize the economy in Almenland. 41.4% of the population work in the service sector, 40.9% in industry, trade and construction and "only" 17.7% in agriculture and forestry. Around 61% commute to work from the region. The association Almenland Wirtschaft was founded in 2006. The aim is to strengthen regional businesses through close cooperation.
