Weiz

In Weiz, everything revolves around "energy". Not only because the "Weiz - Gleisdorf energy region" is located here, but also because of the variety of energy that is lived, used, contributed and implemented, which enables the inhabitants to have a home worth living in.

There is so much to discover and see here. Next to the Tabor church and the pilgrimage church Basilika am Weizberg the Kunsthaus in the middle of the old town promises contemporary views. There are plenty of stores, coffee houses, restaurants, boutiques and much more to take a break from shopping!

The nature park Almenland and the town of Weiz are approx. 7 kilometers apart. Here, the Weizklamm gorge connects the nature park (St. Kathrein and Hohenau) with the municipality of Naas and Weiz. This means you can take a trip to Weiz, to its cultural and exciting excursion destinations and to the shopping city!
