24h or 12h hike

A high-altitude hike around Breitenau with all the mountain peaks, the tour offers beautiful views of the Mürztal, the Hochschwab and the Styrian hills.

That was the 2025 hiking marathon:

In 24 hours, 56 kilometers and 3,200 meters of altitude are hiked - with a few breaks, but without sleep!
The route: Breitenau - Rennfeld - Eibeggsattel - Strassegg - Sommeralm - Teichalm - Hochlantsch - Schüsserlbrunn - Breitenau

Alternatively, there is also a 12-hour hike with 22 kilometers and 1,000 meters of altitude.
The route: Strassegg - Teichalm - Hochlantsch - Schüsserlbrunn - Breitenau

Meeting point:
24h hike: 23 May, 17:00 at the village square in St. Jakob
12h hike: 24 May, 05:30 at the village square in St. Jakob (shuttle service to the Sommeralm)

Entry fee:
24h hike: € 105.00
12h hike: € 80.00

Included in the entry fee:

• Tour guide and shuttle service (also in the event of premature termination)
• Full catering with 3 hot meals & coffee and cake at the finish line
