Through the steepest place in Styria
The Mühlenpanoramaweg in Gasen is a leisurely circular walk of approx. 1 hour. The start and finish is in the center of Gasen, where you can stop off at three traditional inns before or after the hike! Families will also enjoy the outdoor pool and the great playground right next to the Stoanihaus.
The small, friendly mountain village of Gasen is part of the Almenland nature park and has 900 inhabitants. The village became famous as the home of the"Stoakogler brothers" Willingshofer, who still run their farms here today. The "Stoani House of Music" in the village center houses a large exhibition about the great career of the "Stoakogler", and the "Music School for Adults", which is also located there, now has students from all over Europe. The small café in the building is a popular meeting place for music students and visitors alike and the souvenir store rounds off the offer.
The extreme slopes around the village make Gasen the"steepest place in Styria".
