Hike around Graz's local mountain

The Schöckl, one of the higher peaks in the Graz mountains, is the recreational area of the people of Graz. There are not only several hiking trails leading up the mountain, but also a cable car. Once at the top, there are several opportunities for further sporting activities and there is also a wide range of culinary delights on offer.

Active on the Schöckl

This relatively short and leisurely trail starts at the Schöcklkreuz, which is already over 1,000m above sea level and offers some wonderful views of the Almenland nature park, Semriach and down to St. Radegund along the way. The family-friendly trail can be walked all year round, but only with the appropriate equipment in snow and ice.
