Almenland-Hiking trail

The trail leads for around 18 kilometers across a high plateau with open alpine pastures, lots of cattle and good culinary offerings, i.e. huts and inns. The views along the way are second to none! The wonderful panorama extends from the Hochschwab over the Stuhleck to Eastern Styria. 

The Almenland hiking trail connects the Teichalm with the Brandlucken. There is plenty to see both at the starting point and at the destination. On the Teichalm, the lake, high moor and wooden ox await visitors. The Brandlucken, on the other hand, is known for its open-air theater in front of the "Huab'n", where plays are performed regularly in summer.

If you only want to walk in one direction, the "SAM - Sammeltaxi Oststeiermark" offers a good opportunity to take you back to the starting point.
