From the Nechnitz plateau to the Teichalm
The trail leads from the Nechnitz plateau up to the Teichalm - there are many sights and lovely places to stop for refreshments.
The trail begins on the high plateau of the Nechnitz and leads via the scenic Hubenhalt up to the Teichalm. The lovely Nechnitz impresses above all with its location between the Red Wall and Schöckl. On the Teichalm, the Teichalmsee with all its possibilities - from the boat tour around the lake or a rest by the water. A tour through the Teichalm moorThe path through the moor takes around 20 minutes, is easy to walk on the newly designed wooden plank path and ends at the "wooden ox" at the lake. The way back then leads past the Gerler cross and the district of Hintereben with its farmsteads back to the Nechnitz.
This hike from the Nechnitz can also be combined with the Wood Sculpture Trail The best way to do this is to start with the trail, walk up to the Gschaid-Nock and from there in the direction of the Teichalm (trail no. 2 & 740).
