  • Bärenschützklamm to the Teichalm: up the Bärenschützklam to "Zum Guten Hirten" and along the Mixnitzbach to the Teichalm, the same way back to the "Guten Hirten" and then the Prügelweg back to the Mixnitz parking lot
Pick up from the Teichalm or by cab back to Mixnitz. (approx. 4 hours one way, without return)

  • Through the Bärenschützklamm gorge to Breitenau: Through the gorge to the "Steirischer Jokl" (or up to the Hochlantsch summit) and then the descent down to Breitenau (approx. 4.5 hours)

  • Up to Schüsserlbrunn: through the gorge, up to Schüsserlbrunn, back to "Zum guten Hirten" and via the Prügelweg back to the Mixnitz parking lot (approx. 6 hours)

  • Bärenschützklamm incl. Hochlantsch & Teichalm:
through the gorge, further up to Schüsserlbrunn and the Hochlantsch summit. Down to the Teichalm, along the Mixnitzbach stream back to the "Guten Hirten" and the Prügelweg trail back to Mixnitz.
    (approx. 9 hours)

Attention: a"one-way system" applies through the Bärenschützklamm gorge. The return route is along the so-called "Prügelweg".

Through the Bärenschützklamm gorge, you climb up 168 wooden ladders and over 3,000 wooden rungs to the rest stop "Zum guten Hirten". Here you can turn around for the first time and walk back along the "Prügelweg". However, you can extend the hike, for example to the panoramic "Steirischer Jokl" and to the wooden Maria Schüsserlbrunn" wooden pilgrimage churchwhich clings picturesquely to the rock.

Further up to the Hochlantsch summit. At 1,720 m, the Hochlantsch is the highest elevation in the Grazer Bergland. Down we go to the lovely Teichalm with the lake and the high moor. The way back leads along the Mixnitzbach stream back to Mixnitz - or you can be picked up by bus or cab at the Teichalm.
