Spectacular viewpoints
This tour leads along the Jägersteig trail above the Weizklamm gorge. In addition to great views and steep rock faces, there is also a suspension bridge to conquer. The route continues over the Patscha saddle to the Patscha summit. From there, the route continues to Greith and finally back to the starting point at GH Kreuzwirt.
Some exposed parts of the tour are also secured with ropes, which is why good surefootedness and a head for heights are required for the hike.
The remaining sections of the hike run through easier terrain, which also connects the Almenland Nature Park with the Weizer Bergland.
Start/finish: GH Kreuzwirt
Parking: free parking at the starting point
Duration: 14.8 km | 5.5 hours
Elevation gain: 890 m
