Our hiking trails and footpaths also invite you to go running or Nordic walking. In almost all villages, signposted routes await athletes who want to experience the nature park in this way.
Nordic Walking
Kathrein/Offenegg
- Church circular hiking trail directly in the village of St. Kathrein (approx. 2 km),
- Circular route from the village square to GH Braunhof (approx. 4 km) or straight on to Gschaid (approx. 8 km)
- St. Kathrein - Brandlucken circular route via Schönes Kreuz, Koarlsplatz or the Karl Schwaiger Weg (all approx. 12 km)
Breitenau/Hochlantsch
- Center of St. Jakob - GH Hofbauer - Alois Schwach-Siedlung, approx. 2.4 km
- St. Jakob village center - St. Erhard - junction Zitonergraben, approx. 10.6 km
- St. Jakob village center - Knollgraben - Eibeggsattel, approx. 4.1 km
Fladnitz/Teichalm
- Lake loop, approx. 3.1 km

Running
For all those for whom hiking is too slow, there are also running routes in the nature park Almenland. From short routes with little incline to half marathons, there is a wide selection for beginners to professionals.
