The sunniest trails far and wide

In the heart of Eastern Styria, cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find a small but beautiful cross-country skiing paradise in the Almenland nature park, which has also been awarded the Styrian cross-country ski trail seal of approval seal of quality. The 5 km long Hochmoor trail is covered in snow and is available to cross-country skiing fans even when there is no natural snow.

The sunny cross-country ski trails are among the most popular in Styria and stretch from the Teichalm to the Sommeralm. Along the route, there are numerous places to stop for refreshments with a cozy atmosphere and special hospitality.

The Almenland trails range in difficulty from easy to medium. They are double-tracked in classic style and also have a skating track.

In optimal conditions, we offer a perfectly groomed network of trails totaling 21 km. Of these, 18 km are classified as easy and 3 km as medium.
