Perfectly groomed trails with a seal of approval
Im Herzen der Oststeiermark finden begeisterte Langläufer ein kleines, aber feines Langlaufparadies im Naturpark Almenland, das zudem mit dem Steirischen Loipen-Gütesiegel ausgezeichnet ist.
The sunny cross-country ski trails are among the most popular in Styria and stretch from the Teichalm to the Sommeralm. Along the route, there are numerous places to stop for refreshments with a cozy atmosphere and special hospitality.
The Almenland trails range in difficulty from easy to medium. They are double-tracked in classic style and also have a skating track.

In optimal conditions, we offer a perfectly groomed network of trails totaling 21 km. Of these, 18 km are classified as easy and 3 km as medium.

Eastern Styria Winter needle
Eastern Styria impresses with small but fine ski resorts with affordable skiing, easily visible pistes, short and stress-free access routes.
There is also plenty to experience and relax away from the slopes. Excellent cross-country ski trails, winter and snowshoe hikes, toboggan runs, winter wellness and much more await you.
There is a small gift for each winter pin achieved, which can be collected from the Nature Park offices at Almenland or Joglland-Waldheimat.
