The gourmet innkeepers are the heart of our gastronomy - from the regional beef, predominantly ALMO in the kitchen, to the quality of the products, to the ambience in the restaurant! And then, of course, the innkeepers themselves and their staff, who give their guests a warm welcome!
The ALMO gourmet innkeepers become our "gourmet innkeepers"
From now on, "ALMO" will no longer be in the name, as the catering business can decide for itself whether to purchase beef from the ALMO brand or from another regional butcher or farmer.
The criteria of the pleasure hosts:
- Use of exclusively regional beef (ALMO, farmer from the region, butcher from the region) for the beef dishes on the menu
- Use of products from our Almenland specialty companies
- Participation in Styrian marketing programs for high-quality business management (Kulinarium Steiermark or Steirsches Wirtshaus)
The mission statement:
Die Genusswirte is a group of gastronomy businesses that are aware of the responsibility of the food in their kitchen and the beautiful cultural landscape on our doorstep and support local farmers with the beef dishes on the menu. An important partner for the sale of local beef is the Pierer butcher's shop, which processes ALMO beef as well as regional beef.

We cannot talk enough about the importance of local food in connection with our landscape. A project is currently being prepared under the title "Gscheit essen - nachhaltig und guat" (Eating smart - sustainable and good), in which the mission statement will be presented anew. More detailed information will follow shortly.
