With about 6.5 kilometers of mountain bike trails, visitors can enjoy a varied biking experience surrounded by nature. Whether you’re trying out trails for the first time, taking a relaxed family ride, or seeking a athletic challenge—the trails offer something for every skill level.

  • Uphill Trail – for anyone who wants to climb the mountain under their own power

Bike School & E-Bike Rental

Biking Fürst Bike School
With professional riding technique training, the Biking Fürst Bike School ensures greater safety and more fun on your mountain bike. Experienced guides offer mountain bike and e-mountain bike courses, guided tours, and bike camps for children and teens. Both beginners and advanced riders can improve their skills here and Almenland new trails and routes in the Almenland Nature Park.

E-Bike Rental at
FUNBASE also offers two new, high-quality e-mountain bikes for rent to outside cyclists. Even if you don’t want to try out the trails at FUNBASE, you can still rent the e-bikes at the Sommeralm.

Even in winter, the Funbase Holzmeisterlift has plenty to offer:
Three slopes, two T-bar lifts, a “fairy-tale meadow,” the halfpipe, and a kids’ area make the Holzmeisterlift a popular family ski resort on the Sommeralm. With support from the ALMI Ski School Eder, young winter sports enthusiasts gain their first experiences in the snow while the adults enjoy the sunny slopes.
