Enjoyment, Hiking, Relaxation & Making Music
This 3-star inn is located in the heart of the Gasen Nature Park community in the Styrian Almenland. This idyllic mountain village is also known as the “Music Village”; it is home to the “Stoakogler,” a well-known folk music group, as well as a music school for adults called the “Stoanineum.”
The Grabenbauer family’s family-run inn offers new, lovingly furnished rooms and an apartment—some with a balcony or terrace—a rustic dining room, cozy dining areas, and a sunny outdoor dining area overlooking the children’s playground, making it ideal for families. The mountain landscape offers perfect conditions for hiking vacations; fantastic hiking trails start right at the front door, such as the Mühlenpanoramaweg or the Stoakogler-Heimatwanderweg. Music vacation seminars are offered in collaboration with the Stoanineum.
Our kitchen team treats guests to traditional, regional dishes. Our house specialty, the “Stoani-Braten”—a juicy roast beef—is very popular, as are our delicious, homemade pastries and desserts.
