On the nature park guided tour “125 Alpine Dreams in Green,” you’ll join our nature guides to discover the diversity of alpine flora, hear fascinating stories about the management of the alpine pastures, and explore the vibrant life on the alpine meadows.

Amid lush meadows, fragrant herbs, and a unique landscape, you’ll see how nature, animals, and people have been interconnected for centuries. Hiking with Scenic Views & Stops for Refreshments

Whether through the alpine pastures or along the gorges: the Naturpark Almenland a truly wonderful place for hiking! At the heart of the nature park are the Teichalm and the Sommeralm, which are perfect for leisurely hikes from one alpine pasture to the next. But there are also spectacular gorges and water-filled ravines here that offer plenty of shade and cool spots, especially in the summer. The Raabklamm is Austria’s longest gorge and also a Natura 2000 protected area, while the Bärenschützklamm is arguably one of the most spectacular gorges.

On the Road on Two Wheels

Summer is also the perfect time to explore the Naturpark Almenland bike. Whether you’re mountain biking, cycling through the countryside, or taking a leisurely ride with the family—this is the place to truly enjoy a cycling vacation!

The newly opened FUNBASE Holzmeisterlift offers uphill and downhill trails for mountain bikers, as well as a bike school, bike rentals, and mountain go-karts. Why not check out our new destination right away?

But the leisurely routes—around the Passailer Kessel or up in the alpine pastures—are especially inviting for e-bike riders, with plenty of great places to stop for a bite to eat and many rest areas along the way.
