Tips & Tricks

For an eco-friendly trip by car

  • We make efficient use of the available parking spaces. We carpool to keep the number of cars in the alpine pasture area to a minimum. The more people in a car, the better.
  • We are guests in nature, and we behave accordingly.
  • We leave nature just as we found it— free of trash.
  • We drive on public roads and observe the designated times to help preserve a peaceful environment for wildlife.
  • We park our car in designated parking spaces. By doing so, we show respect for nature as well as for forestry and alpine farming.
  • Camping in the alpine pasture area is not permitted; camping must take place at designated campgrounds.
  • We adhere to the standard opening hours for visitors to the parking lots: May–October
  • We appreciate the parking spaces provided and pay a fee for parking during business hours.
  • We also share these tips and tricks with other visitors seeking relaxation. As a result, the culture of sustainable mobility is becoming Almenland widespread in the Almenland Nature Park.
  • The Mobility Rangers at Almenland Nature Park provide support and guidance on the responsible use of transportation options and treating the natural environment with respect.

By taking personal responsibility for adhering to these universally applicable principles, we ensure that the natural environment in the Almenland Nature Park will continue to be a unique recreational and living space— Almenland as a workplace—for everyone Almenland the future.
