Ice skating in Naturpark Almenland winter fun for the whole family. On the well-maintained ice rinks, young and old alike can skate around amid the winter scenery. Practical skating aids ensure a safe and playful start, especially for children. If you don’t have your own skates, you can easily rent them right on site. That way, nothing stands in the way of a carefree winter day full of exercise, fun, and shared experiences in the fresh air.
Important: Ice skating on Lake Teichalm is strictly prohibited and extremely dangerous.

The ice rink right next to the Karl-Wirt Inn is one of the largest in the region. The staff here put their heart and soul into creating a beautiful ice surface for the cold months. There’s also a floodlight system, skating aids for the little ones, and a skate rental service.
If you'd like, you can also try curling here. Plus, you can stop by the inn for a relaxing break. Children can also enjoy the indoor activities at the inn, such as the go-kart track, indoor rifle shooting, or the bowling alley.
