The Life of Bees

A family-friendly hiking trail that starts right in Passail and leads up to the mystical Schiesshüttenwald. From there, you have a wonderful view of the entire Passail basin. The trail aptly passes by the Almenland KreinerAlmenland . There, visitors can find more fascinating information about bees, guided tours, and guided honey tastings (by appointment), as well as a charmingly designed farm shop offering regional honey and bee products.

If you have a little extra time, you should definitely take a short detour to the Lindenberg Church . Under the old linden trees, benches invite you to linger and offer a beautiful panoramic view of the entire Passail Basin. Right next to it is the Lindenbergstub'n, which invites you to stop in for a cozy break.

The route can be extended to include a loop down to Tober (Wild-Wiesenrunde).

Road Conditions

The Forest and Bee Nature Trail runs mostly along easily navigable forest and logging trails, as well as short paved sections. The hike is easy and ideal for families with children. The occasional inclines are easy to manage.
