This multi-stage trail leads over the Masenberg, through Pöllau and the Rabenwaldkogel, through two nature parks, past the Zetz, and through the Passailer Kessel to Frohnleiten.

A connection between the two nature parks

The hike connects the Burgenland border region with the Murtal valley, passing through the nature parks of Eastern Styria. From Grafendorf, the route leads over the Masenberg, through the villages of Pöllauberg and Pöllau, up to the Rabenwaldkogel, and on to the highest peaks of the Pöllauer Tal Nature Park. The trail continues via Anger and the Zetz, one of the most striking scenic peaks in the Almenland Nature Park. Passing through St. Kathrein am Offenegg and the Passailer Kessel, the trail leads to Fladnitz an der Teichalm and finally continues via Fragnerberg and Hochtrötsch to Frohnleiten.

It is also possible to depart from Frohnleiten in the opposite direction.
