From Fladnitz to the Rechberg
A beautiful hike from downtown Fladnitz up to the Rechberg. The GH Pröllhofer is a cozy spot where hikers can stop for a break.
Tulwitz is one of the districts in the new municipality of Fladnitz an der Teichalm. The village is characterized by its beautiful farmsteads, which nestle picturesquely against the hills of the Passailer Kessel. The trail starts in the center of Fladnitz and leads along meadows, pastures, and forests, almost all the way up to the Rechberg Pass. From there, you’ll enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Passailer Kessel and the surrounding alpine pastures and peaks. The return route then winds in a wide arc through Tulwitzviertl, Egg, and Obertulwitz back to Fladnitz.
Perched atop the Rechberg, the Pröllhofer Inn is a popular spot that welcomes guests with a beautiful terrace offering stunning views; there are also places to stop for a bite to eat in the center of Fladnitz.
