A hike through the Große Raabklamm—Austria’s longest gorge. You’ll encounter imposing rock faces, crystal-clear water, pristine riparian forests, and one of Styria’s most beautiful river landscapes.

Through Austria's longest gorge

The Raabklamm, divided into the Große Raabklamm and the Kleine Raabklamm, stretches from Arzberg to Mitterdorf and, with a total length of 17 kilometers, is Austria's longest gorge.

The Große Raabklamm, located between Arzberg and Weiz, is part of the NATURA 2000 network and is home to rare birds such as the black stork, the kingfisher, and the hoopoe.

Along rugged cliffs, beautiful gray alder floodplains, and accompanied by the rushing waters of the Raab River, you can explore this natural paradise on safe, marked trails and boardwalks.
