Circular hike with breathtaking views

Teichalm

A scenic loop hike around the Teichalm featuring a summit experience on the 1,548-meter-high Osser, magnificent panoramic views, cozy alpine huts, and a detour to the source of the Raab River.

The Joy of Reaching the Summit, Alpine Pastures, and the Source of the Raab River

This is the perfect hike for anyone who wants to enjoy a view of the Teichalm and its lake from above. On the way to the Gerler Cross —and, of course, from the summit of the Osser at 1,548 meters—you’ll enjoy wonderful views of the Teichalm.

The Raab River has its source at the foot of the Osser; anyone who wishes can take a detour from the "Schwoabauer-Kreuz" to the source of the Raab and follow the marked “Raabursprung” trail downhill.

At Teichalm, we recommend taking a walk through the Teichalm Moor. This raised bog is located right next to Lake Teichalm and can be walked around on wooden planks in about 20 minutes.
