Between Nature, Culture, and Urban Delights

The Passail-Weiz bike tour connects two special places in the region and showcases the diversity of the Almenland Nature Park. From Passail, the route follows the Raab River through Arzberg and past the Stubegg castle ruins up to Burgstall, where impressive views of the Schöckl and the Passailer Kessel open up.

The route continues over the Hammersberg and past the Maria Loreto pilgrimage church into the Raab Valley and finally to Weiz. Here, it’s a good time to take a break to stroll through town, stop for a bite to eat, or visit the many shops and sights.

The return route follows the well-maintained Raab Valley Bike Trail (R11) back to Passail and winds through a varied landscape with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
