High above Pernegg on the Mur River

This leisurely hike begins at the Pernegg train station, making it easily accessible by public transportation. From there, the trail continues through Kirchdorf, past the imposing Maximilianskirche, and up to the Predigtstuhl.

There, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Hochlantsch, across the valley floor and the Mur River, all the way to Upper Styria. The return trip follows the same route.
