Three stages wind through the Almenland Nature Park
Difficult | Long-distance hiking trail | North & South Routes
The long-distance hiking trail “From Glacier to Wine” connects the Dachstein with the Styrian wine country and is considered one of Austria’s most beautiful multi-day hikes. Along two different routes, hikers can experience the diverse landscapes of Styria—from alpine peaks to the rolling vineyards in the south.
The Stages in the Almenland Nature Park
Three stages of the Northern Route wind through the Almenland Nature Park Almenland connecting scenic alpine pastures, traditional mountain villages, and breathtaking panoramic landscapes. Along the way, you’ll find expansive alpine pastures, cozy places to stop for a break, and magnificent views stretching far beyond Eastern Styria.
The three Almenland are suitable both as part of the entire long-distance hike and as standalone day hikes.
